An excellent Vaucrains, displaying all of the mineral drive and vitality we have come to expect from this cuvée with perhaps a little more
immediate charm than usual. Dark berry, black cherry, sloe and damson fruit with hints of earth and rock salt. Cool, gripping, expansive and persistent. Really sophisticated and assured. Stunning. One of the great vineyards of Nuits that often rivals Les St. Georges, above which it sits directly, albeit in a more brooding and muscular style.
