Tasting Note:

A complex lifted Pommard, floral cherry blossom high notes underlaid by crunchy salt-flecked red berry and cherry fruit with a refreshing blood orange touch. Ample, satisfying and full of fruit that is well covered by binding tannins. From the iron-rich "Bas" part of the vineyard considered the prime part of Rugiens. The vines are 55 years old. Fermented with two thirds whole bunches and aged in 40% new oak.
