Tasting Note:

The most wonderful luminescent red colour, a trait that is echoed on the palate with its shimmering red berry and cherry characteristics. Ripe, but even-keeled and with a crunchy freshness to it, this is a finely balanced wine that offers fantastically crisp, clean edges to its joy-filled, refined fruit. Since losing the La Morra component of this vineyard they are now down to a production of only 8,000 bottles (from 12,000.) A blend of fruit from Barolo, Serralunga and Castiglione Falletto. Aged for 24 months in 20 percent new oak.
