Tasting Note:

Dark fruit, violet and leather notes on the nose. Equally dark and alluring on the palate with flavours of black cherry and creme de mure. Rich and powerful like the Favier but more refined. Brimming with smoothly-textured but intense ripe fruit, the palate offers flavours of bramble, black cherry crème de mure. Ripe clear and layered flavours, to which pepper spice, saddle leather and peppercorn notes add further complexity. Powerful, complex but slick and well-defined. A blend of 60% Grenache 40% Mourvèdre. Aged in used oak hogsheads for 18 months.
