Tasting Note:

Very aromatic and generous, much more so than usual when first bottled. Rich and silky-slick fruit. Thought forward and charming this has substance, too. Cedar-infused hedgerow fruit, notes of bramble plum and loganberry with a salty tang. Suave, easy to enjoy but not without sophistication. Delicious. Cabernet Franc seems to have found a new home, on the Tuscan coast. Duemani’s owners Elena Celli and Luca d’Attoma were the first to realise the potential of this grape here and produced a 100% Cabernet Franc, named after the estate. Now this trend seems to have caught on with others in the region doing the same. Biodynamically farmed. Fermented and aged for 18 months in 80 percent new oak barrels and tonneaux. Production is rarely more than 750 six packs.
